Police Chase Ends in Fatal Car Crash in Brockton, MA.

Antwoin Moore, 27, of Brockton, MA, has been charged with vehicular manslaughter after causing a fatal car accident while fleeing from police. 

The police chase began late Friday night, October 12, when Moore attempted to flee from police during a narcotics investigation.  The pursuit lasted less than a minute before Moore slammed into a Jaguar being driven by 49 year-old Maryanne Kotsiopoulos, also of Brockton.

The impact of the motor vehicle collision caused Moore’s and Kotsiopoulos’s cars to crash into five other vehicles on the road.  Kotsiopoulos was fatally injured in the Brockton, MA auto accident.

In addition to fleeing from the police, Moore was driving without a license and had outstanding warrants for drug-related offenses.

Investigations into the fatal motor vehicle accident are ongoing.
