At approximately 9:45 p.m., on Tuesday, September 10, 2013, a single-car accident in Lower Merion Pennsylvania resulted in the wrongful deaths of two occupants of the motor vehicle.

According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Keith A. Phillips, 25, and Jhamiel Robinson, 22, were riding in a 2005 Acura passenger sedan along Remington Road in Lower Merion. At some point, the driver of the Acura lost control of the motor vehicle and crashed into a large tree with such force that the car was nearly split in two. The remnants of the vehicle blew through a nearby fence and struck a stone wall.

Both occupants of the motor vehicle were pronounced dead on the scene of the automobile accident. The police have not revealed which of the men was behind the wheel at the time of the auto crash.

The police closed off the portion of Remington Road where the car accident took place for a period of five hours.
